I was born and raised in Oshkosh Wisconsin. In 1988, my wife and I purchased our first home in Omro where we lived for the next 28 years and raised our two daughters. In the mid-1990s, we purchased property in the Wautoma area which we used for recreational purposes. We loved this area and decided to build a home there, once our children were out of college and on their own. In 2016 we became full-time Wautoma residents when we moved into our dream home on our land. My hobbies include playing golf, deer hunting, cutting wood, and working on our property. In our spare time, my wife Jessie and I enjoy travel, dining out, spending time outdoors and most of all having as much family time as possible with our daughters, son-in-law, and three beautiful grandchildren.

My first real job started in 1986 when I began employment with the State of Wisconsin. After 27 years with the state, I started to consider other career paths. A family member in Oshkosh had a financial planning business that also offered Medicare policies and suggested that I obtain my insurance license. Agents within their business could then train and mentor me to get me started in the Medicare industry. In January 2014 I obtained my health and life insurance licenses and began working with my brother in laws business in the evenings as I was still employed full-time with the State of Wisconsin. In October 2014, I started my own company, CMR Insurance Services, and began offering Medicare products in the central Wisconsin area. In August 2015, I officially retired from my position with the State of Wisconsin to concentrate on my business full-time. The last ten or so years have flown by since those first discussions about beginning a new career.

I am now an independent agent and am contracted with the majority of insurance companies that offer Medicare products in the central Wisconsin area. My product line includes Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Policies, Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C), Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) as well as Hospital Indemnity, Cancer, and dental plans. Each month I conduct educational Medicare seminars in different communities throughout central Wisconsin for people turning 65 or those who might be over age 65 but now retiring and losing their employer health insurance.
